Individuals engage with an organization eager to contribute and make a difference in the world, themselves, and their lives.<br \/><br \/>Executive leadership teams must establish the environment in which that happens effectively and efficiently. In the leap from good to elite, leadership teams make building a positive environment a priority. And, they have the structure and discipline to make it happen. Leadership structure and discipline are foundational to assure transparency and to build trust.<br \/><br \/>Leaders must monitor and build up their thoughts, attitudes, and motives so they may conduct their responsibilities at an elite level. <strong>Thoughts<\/strong> must be positive toward others. <strong>Attitudes<\/strong> must reflect inordinate respect for each individual. <strong>Motives<\/strong> must be trustworthy and founded in what is right for others.<br \/><br \/>Often the intentions are good and honorable. Books get read, webinars attended, peer groups provide input, and friends share their thinking. Yet much of the wisdom and insights shared and received are not implemented. Intent rarely makes a dent. Good is rarely good enough.<br \/><br \/>Elite performance and outcomes require structure and discipline.
